Okay, here we go, I’m finally getting to the point where I can start unveiling stuff! Exciting! Full disclosure though – June was a much busier month for an unemployed me than I thought. Stuff I thought was gonna be up today is gonna be spread throughout the month, at latest by the August blog.
This new process to streamline my work is still a work in progress, I’m still working out all the kinks in it. I’m optimistic about this month, for what it’s worth. I think I have most of it worked out by now. Now, it’s just a matter of working on the visible stuff!
Website update first – This was the cause of most of my stress this month. Finding the time to work on assets and such was NOT fun. The initial set of pages is mostly finished though, and they should be up by the end of the week. One new link is already up – my linktr.ee page now links from my home page – but the rest will be actual pages to populate the site. Hopefully with these updates, the site can start becoming far more lively!
The game has been moving… slower than I’ve intended it to. I’ve made some major improvements to the physics of the game, but starting on the proper level designs has proven to be a challenge on its own. This and a few other tweaks is making it hard for me to showcase stuff for the game when I really thought I’d have something by now. Soon, though! I swear! Progress IS being made.
The YouTube video is coming along but is part of the reason I’ve taken a step back and started revising my work pipeline. A technical hurdle or few, though, is all that’s stopping me now from getting it out. This month for sure, for real this time, I swear.
I realize this is going pretty slow, so I want to thank everyone for how patient they’re being with me. Once I knock out some of these, I’ll be even faster in other areas!
